The New York Times reported last week that farmers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions currently are experiencing an "explosive" fungus outbreak.
An exceptionally wet June coupled with the late blight fungus' "infectious" nature are making for expensive local produce, also for produce grown in commercial fields or garden markets. Let's keep our fingers crossed for hotter weather and lots of sun, which helps kill the fungus spores.
Otherwise, farmers will see a lot of no-good tomatoes.

Hey girl,
The tomatoe blight is mainly coming from plants that were purchased at Lowes and Home Depot. Locally grown plants are affected that much. The excessive rain doesn't help.
But I sure love them tomatoes.
